Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or commonly known as vinyl is one of the most versatile materials after World War II. This synthetic material is widely used for construction materials, packaging materials, health care products, agriculture tools and automotive parts because of its unique properties, low cost and performance. Continuous studies are carried out world wide to improve, expand and promote the use of PVC.
To meet the increasing demands for vinyl, we at MECI, produces PVC resin and compound which are suitable for numerous applications. Our products are produced under stringent quality control procedures. As a testimony of our commitment towards quality, we have obtained certification from SIRIM Berhad for the following products:
 MS 1012:1986 for HP-65 PVC Resin
 MS 138:1995 for TI-1, TM-1, T6 PVC Compounds for electrical cables.
PVC Resin
Our MECION suspension resins are available for rigid and flexible applications such as extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding and calendering. Various grades ranging from K58 to K70 are available in 25kg and 1 ton bag packaging.
PVC Compound
Our PVC compounds are formulated to use specifically in rigid and soft application. Out PVC compounds are also customizable according to customer's requirements. Our R&D team continuously develops and revises our recipe to improve the properties of our products. Available either in dry-blend or pallet, the array of grades is suitable for processes such as extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding and calendaring.
Synthetic Rubber - Thermoplastic Rubber
We also supply thermoplastic rubber compound (TR) for rigid and flexible processes for application such as shoe soles, anti-slipping mats, profiles, etc. These products are manufactured in our joint ventured plant in Zhongshan City of Guangdong, People's Republic of China. The variety of grades are based on block copolymer of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) rubber and are most suitable for a spectrum of shoe soles.
